Facial Fat Transfer
A facial fat transfer is a surgical procedure that removes fat from one area of the body (typically the abdomen or thighs through a small incision) and is carefully placed into the areas of the face that have volume deficiency. Most typically fat transfer is performed to treat age related volume loss, but Dr. Lafer has also employed this technique for reconstructive patients as well.
Patients who are good candidates for this procedure are in good health, have facial volume deficits, and have a stable body weight.
